Dead Man Voting

I can guarantee you that dead people will be voting in this year’s election.

Now, I know that some of you are already starting to compose a reply to this but hear me out.

There are approximately 7,500 people that die in the U.S. every day.  This is an approximate average as the actual number varies by season.

A conservative estimate would be that 50% of those people are qualified voters.   The number is likely higher as more older people die daily than younger people. But, for the sake of this argument, let’s go with 50%.

That means that each day, around 3,750 registered voters die each day.

In some states, mail-in ballots will be sent out 4 weeks early.  I’m not going to research every state so let’s use two weeks as the earliest time that someone could mail in their ballot.  Again, the number is likely to be higher but let’s use two weeks for this discussion.

14 days multiplied by 3,750 deaths per day = 52,500 recently-deceased voters.  Meaning, 52,500 people will have died after having voted but before their vote is counted.

See?  Dead people voting. Guaranteed.

But, I think we can safely ignore these people because, after all, they followed the rules.  They actually were alive when they voted.

While I have your attention, I’d like you to consider this:

According to a study just released by the Public Interest Legal Foundation, there are nearly 350,000 deceased people in the U.S. who are still considered registered voters.   New York, Texas, Michigan, Florida and California account for almost 51% of that number.

In states like California, where every registered voter will be mailed a ballot, there will be a lot of dead people receiving ballots.  Well, not exactly, there will be a lot of live people in possession of ballots that were mailed to dead people.

In states like Texas, where you have to request a ballot, there will clearly be people who die between the time they request a ballot and the time it gets delivered to their mailbox.

It’s virtually guaranteed that some live people will submit a ballot for their dead friend or relative.  It would be unreasonable to believe otherwise.  With the country split nearly 50-50 on almost every issue, these fraudulent votes could end up influencing the results, especially in battleground states like Texas, Florida and Michigan.

These votes we can’t ignore. Because it’s entirely possible that the winner of this year’s presidential election will be chosen by someone who wasn’t even alive when their vote was cast.
