Back in 2016, when Trump was running for president the first time, I was talking to a lady from my neighborhood. She was complaining that two of her neighbors had put Trump signs in their front yards.
I told her that, as I see it, having people plant political signs in their front yards is handy. Because it helps me know what type of people they are.
These days, as my dog and I walk through our neighborhood, I don’t see a lot of political signs. But the Kamala signs do I see outnumber the Trump signs by about 20 to 1.
That’s not because people here don’t support Trump. I don’t have a Trump sign, and I’ve voted for him three times.
The reason I don’t have a Trump sign is because I like my stuff.
Two Very Different Responses
If a Trump supporter sees a Harris sign, the worst they’ll do is take the sign. More likely they’ll replace it with a Trump sign just to piss off the Kamala supporter.
But Liberals tend to be a bit looney and prone to violence. If a Harris supporter sees a Trump sign, they’re more likely than not to go off the deep end and not only destroy the sign, but also damage cars, houses, and whatever else they can take their anger (aka “joy”) out on.
So, a lack of Trump signs isn’t a reliable indicator of the local support for him.
While there aren’t many signs in my neighborhood, I’m happy for the ones I do see because I can tell with just a glance a great deal about the people who live there.
For example, if I see a Trump sign in someone’s front yard, I know that the people living in that home are familiar with facts, logic and reason. I also know that house contains independent thinkers who don’t just believe whatever their phones tell them to believe.
On the other hand, if I see a Harris/Walz sign in someone’s front yard, I know that the people living in that home are idiots. And, if I see both a sign supporting Kamala, and a sign supporting Black Lives Matter, well, I know that common sense and reason have entirely left that building.
Profiled
I know, I know. We’re not supposed to profile. But there’s a reason why we do it. Because profiling is fairly accurate and effective. So, let’s continue.
A Kamala sign out front tells me a tremendous amount about the person who lives there. It tells me that person believes everything they’re told by Kamala and the mainstream media.
So, I know for certain that they believe the lies being told about Donald Trump. Those lies include:
- He’s a racist.
- He’s a fascist.
- He will be a dictator.
- He’s going to sign a nationwide ban on abortions.
- He’s going to block IVF treatments.
- He’s going to send the military after his opponents.
- He endorses Project 2025.
- He sent an armed mob to the Capitol on Jan 6th, 2021.
They believe these lies because they don’t know that they are lies. Even as recently as yesterday, Kamala presented them as the truth. In fact, at her recent rally in Washington, DC, she swore that she would always tell us the truth. Then, she spent the next 20 minutes spewing lie after lie about Donald Trump, including all the things I just mentioned.
But wait, there’s more
Just by seeing a Kamala sign in a front yard, I know a bunch of other things about the people that live there:
- They will have voluntarily had multiple COVID shots.
- They believe that George Floyd isn’t at least partly responsible for his own death.
- They believe riots and looting are acceptable forms of “peaceful protests”.
- They will not be able to define what a woman is.
- They believe that men should be able to compete in women’s sports.
- They believe that a man can become a woman just by wishing it were so.
- They believe that schools should be able to hide student’s mental health issues from his or her parents.
- They believe that it’s OK to have books in public schools that are considered too obscene to read out loud at school board meetings.
- They believe Trump will break up inter-racial marriages, deport the “of-color” person, and force the white spouse to marry another white person.
- They support Kamala because of her policies yet can’t name a single one of her policies.
- They also support her because of her accomplishments yet can’t name any of those either.
- They are unwilling to think for themselves.
- They are easily influenced by others.
- They believe four more years of doing the same thing will somehow result in change.
- They will have a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
What they don’t believe
The Kamala sign also tells me things they don’t believe:
- That Biden is unfit to be President, and Kamala is guilty of hiding it.
- That Kamala is a pathological liar and nearly every single thing she says isn’t true.
- That Kamala’s record as California’s Attorney General is abysmal at best.
- That our southern border is wide open.
- That Kamala Harris cast the deciding vote on the policies that have steadily been destroying our country for nearly four years.
- That Kamala used sexual favors to advance her political career.
- That the mainstream media is conspiring to hide all of this from them.
What they think about me
When I see a Kamala sign in someone’s front yard, it also tells me a lot about what they believe about me. Solely because I support Donald Trump, they believe:
- That I’m a racist
- That I’m a white supremacist
- That I’m a conspiracy theorist.
- That I’m an election denier
OK. I’ll give them that last one. I mean, who in their right mind looks back at 2020 and believes there wasn’t election interference and voter fraud? But conspiracy theorist? It’s a stretch to call them theories when they all turn out to be true.
Clearly not all Liberals will believe every one of these things, but nearly all Liberals will believe most of them. And someone who is such a Kamala fanatic that they willingly put a Harris sign in their front yard is going to check all the boxes.
So, a Kamala sign in a front yard will tell you, with a fair amount of accuracy, just how looney your neighbor is.
I can tell a lot about someone simply by seeing what’s in their front yard. And you can too. All you have to do is look. The signs are there.
