Abandoning BLM

I’ve been trying to figure out why the Black Lives Matter movement hasn’t been abandoned by, well, everyone.

The movement started on the indefensible notion that police brutality is rampant in the U.S., specifically against black men. The data simply doesn’t not back this up. I have not seen a single bit of data that indicates that black people are being injured or killed by police at a greater rate than any other race. The BLM movement has never presented a shred of evidence that supports their position. They simply say that it’s so, hoping that people will blindly follow their lead. And many people do.

When asked if “Black Lives Matter” means “All Black Lives Matter” they said no. “Black Lives Matter” only applies to black people harmed by the police. When people tried to say “All Black Lives Matter” they were branded as racists. When people tried to promote racial unity by saying “All Lives Matter” well, it turns out that’s racist too. In fact, the only thing that isn’t considered racist is if you say “Black Lives Matter” to show your support for a protest of something that doesn’t actually exist.

Patrisse Cullors, one of the founders of Black Lives Matter, said in 2015 that her and fellow organizers are “trained Marxists”. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, Marxism = Socialism = Communism. She didn’t actually say that they WERE Marxists, just that they’ve been trained as such. Though it doesn’t take much of a leap to conclude that this is what drives their ideology. This alone should have been enough to derail the BLM movement. But it wasn’t.

Next, they switched to focus on the “systemic racism” in the United States. But, there wasn’t any evidence of that either. So, they simply started calling EVERYTHING racist. If you crack your knuckles, you’re a white supremist. If you have a rope swing in your yard, you’re a racist. In fact, if you question their movement or tactics in any way at all you’re considered a racist. Even when black people question the BLM movement, they’re considered racist.

The protests started out peaceful but turned quickly violent. Where were the BLM leaders denouncing the violence? Nowhere. George Floyd’s brother begged people to stop. But they haven’t. Since the looting and violence is primarily affecting black people, why isn’t the BLM leadership actively trying to quell the violence? Because those black lives don’t matter. Not to BLM anyway.

There are thousands of black people killed by other black people just in the U.S. each year. The BLM movement distances themselves from that issue as they continue to gain support for a fraction of that number killed by police each year. It seems like each day we see that more innocent people, both adults and children are killed by black-on-black violence. Just this weekend there was a drive-by shooting that killed a one-year-old. But again, BLM was silent. Have you ever heard them express their remorse or offer condolences to the families of the victims?

The BLM protesters have started attacking the founding fathers and calling them racist. And they’re attacking other parts of our history as well. Numerous statues have been torn down or desecrated including statues of people who would have clearly supported their cause Frederick Douglass, Gandhi and Hans Christian Heg to name three. Even a statue of Lincoln, bought and paid for by freed men, has been targeted. Instead of stating their disapproval of such ignorant destruction, BLM remained silent yet again.

The reason they’re so adamant about not talking about the issues that really matter is that they don’t want to dilute the “BLM” brand. They’ve said as much. “Black Lives Matter” has become a rallying cry that is compelling otherwise sane people to ignore all fact and reason. The people that blindly support the BLM movement are being used to fix a problem. But, since systemic racism and police “hunting” black people aren’t real, I couldn’t figure out what problem they’re trying to fix. Haven’t you asked yourself why things have gotten so crazy as quickly as they have? I thought about this a lot. Then it hit me.

In the book “The Naked Communist” (first published in 1958) there is a sentence that explains it all:

“Instead of maintaining a state of intellectual vigilance, we have taken Communist slogans as the major premises for too many of our conclusions.”

And there you have it. “Black Lives Matter” is simply an easy-to-remember slogan used to drive the unthinking masses. They don’t want you to realize that there are much larger, and easier to fix, issues affecting the black community. They don’t want you to see that more black people are killed by other black people than the combined total of people of all races killed by the police. The BLM leadership doesn’t want you to think too much about the facts so they simply ignore them.

In “The Naked Communist” there is a list of 45 items that were considered to be goals of the Communist Party back in 1958. Think of it as a “to-do” list to bring down the U.S. from the inside. I posted the list for you to see a few days ago. There are several items on that list that are particularly applicable today.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”
31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. [Note from Mike, this is what “defund the police” is all about]
42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use [“] united force [“] to solve economic, political or social problems.

I submit that these are the true goals of the BLM movement. It’s not about saving black lives or they wouldn’t be ignoring the huge problem of black-on-black crime. It’s not about systemic racism or they wouldn’t have to resort to calling everything racist. The leaders of the BLM movement, these “trained Marxists”, are following a roadmap created by Communists to destabilize the United States and other democratic countries. And it’s working.
