According to BLM activists and Antifa domestic terrorists, all cops are bastards (ACAB). Taken literally, it certainly can’t be true. I mean, what are the odds that every single police officer everywhere came from unwed parents? If I had to venture a guess, I’d say that the chance of that being true is about 1 in a gabazillion.
If we can’t take ACAB literally, perhaps there’s a different way of looking at it. Clearly with 800,000 sworn law enforcement officers in the U.S. there are going to be some bad apples. Maybe there are so many more bad cops than good cops that the difference between “all” and “most” is negligible.
Hmm. I don’t know about that either. I mean, it’s pretty easy to do a quick online search and come up with thousands of examples of police officers doing some very good things. Law enforcement officers everywhere do a tremendous amount of good work. Sure, there are a few bad officers, but the overwhelming majority of them are good people trying to do their job well.
Show me an example of a cop doing something bad, and I’ll show you thousands of examples of cops doing something good.
Instead of “All Cops Are Bastards”, maybe a more accurate thing to say would be “Some Cops Are Bastards”. Without a doubt, out of all the cops in the U.S., some of them literally are bastards. And, just as likely, a few of them are bad police officers. So, SCAB makes much more sense than ACAB. And it’s easier to pronounce.
BLM/Antifa should have no problem commandeering the word “scab” for their own purposes. They did the same thing with the phrase “Black Lives Matter”, which we all know doesn’t mean what they claim.
I know, this might seem like it’s coming out of left field because BLM/Antifa is sooo last year.
But it’s not.
Just a few days ago a group of Antifa domestic terrorists attacked a Christian prayer group holding an event in Downtown Portland. The totally-peaceful praying men, women and children were doused with pepper spray by the “mostly peaceful protesters”. Smoke bombs and fireworks were thrown at the kids, and the group’s sound system was tossed in the river.
Sadly, this type of activity is normal behavior for Antifa. But, it got me to thinking, are there any “good” Antifa members?
Can you give me even a single example where someone decked out in Antifa garb did something other than cause damage and hurt people? I can’t think of one. Did they help deliver meals? Nope. Have they volunteered for Habitat for Humanity? Nope. Did they at least help an elderly person to their feet after first beating the crap out of them? Nope.
Any video of an Antifa member doing something even remotely nice for their fellow human beings would be a rarity. So, if such a video existed, wouldn’t you think that their marketing team would be plastering it everywhere? I would. Since we’re not seeing even one example of Antifa niceness, I’d say there’s a pretty good chance that there are no examples.
Some of you might be thinking that Antifa is the modern-day Ku Klux Klan. Mostly I agree with you. But, unlike Antifa, the KKK did try to do something good. Did you know the KKK spent more than five years trying to convince the States of Georgia and Missouri that they should be allowed to participate in their “Adopt a Highway” programs? Even the ACLU went to court to support them.
Now, clearly a single act of goodness by the Klan wouldn’t erase decades of bigotry. But at least they tried. Which is more than anyone can say about Antifa.
Hell, it would be easy enough for Antifa to adopt a highway. They already spend a lot of time blocking streets and interstates anyway. Would it be too much to ask them to bend down and pick up some trash while they’re interrupting traffic? It’s not like they’d have to pay for supplies either. They can just grab some trash bags from the last store they loot before they head out to ”mostly-peaceful protest”.
Obviously not all cops are bastards. Evidence shows us that nearly all cops are good people. We have thousands of videos proving this to be true.
But, we can’t say the same thing about Antifa. There is not a single shred of evidence that indicates they are anything but a domestic terrorist organization.
ACAB still applies, though with a different meaning. A much more accurate meaning of ACAB would be “Antifa Crackpots Are Bastards” (in this case, the “All” is implied).
