Let’s play a game. I’m going to call it “Are You Smarter than a Woke Politician?”. Here’s how it works: I’m going to give you a real-world scenario, and you’re going to predict what’s going to happen. Come on, it’ll be fun.
Here’s your scenario. It’s time to find out if you’re Smarter than a Woke Politician!
Politicians in your state are thinking about allowing criminals to request to be jailed in a facility based on their “gender identity”. Prison officials will be required to ask an inmate, in private, what gender they “identify” with. Inmates will not be required to provide any proof to back up their claim.
In other words, men would be transferred into women’s prisons just because they asked nicely.
OK. You’ve got 10 seconds. What do you think is going to happen?
Ding ding ding…time’s up.
If you said that men will fake their way into women’s prisons, you are absolutely right. Which means you are smarter than a Woke Politician.
If you can’t see that this is a horribly bad idea, then you’re dumber than a stump…I mean…as dumb as a Woke Politician.
Because this isn’t some made-up scenario. It’s actually happening. Last September, California started granting requests from male prisoners to be transferred to women’s prisons simply by claiming to “identify” as women. So far, they’ve approved 21 such transfers out of more than 300 requests. Not a single request has been denied. And, so far, at least one female inmate has been impregnated by one of the man-I-feel-like-a-woman men.
It’s easy to see how this could be abused. Imagine a male felon with a record of violence against women. All he has to do is self-identify as a woman, and he can be transferred to a facility chock full of potential victims. Even if he still has all of his dangly bits intact.
California Senate Bill No. 132 is the reason for this mess. So, of course I wanted to learn more. What I found was even more lunacy.
According to SB132, “The term “transgender” is broad and inclusive of all gender identities different from the gender a person was assigned at birth including, but not limited to, transsexual, two-spirit, and māhū.”
Even a 5th grader knows that you shouldn’t define one term using another term that nobody else understands. Or am I the only person who doesn’t know what the hell a “māhū” is? For that matter, I don’t know what a “two-spirit” is either. But apparently both terms have widely-enough accepted legal definitions to require no further explanation.
But wait…there’s more.
- Prison guards must address prisoners by their preferred pronouns (he/she/floop) and by their preferred honorific (Mr/Ms/Miss/Dr). Since SB132 is a law, “or face disciplinary actions” is implied.
- Prisoners can specify if they want to be physically searched by a male or female corrections officer. So, a male prisoner can request that he gets frisked by a female guard just to get his jollies off.
- Prisoners can be housed, based on their gender identity, in various residential programs including the “Community Prisoner Mother Program”. This is specifically mentioned in SB132. The only reason to mention the program by name would be if a male prisoner can somehow identify as a pregnant female prisoner.
- Prisoners can decide their gender identity at any time. Not sure why this is necessary. I guess it’s possible that a few years of being a prison bitch could cause someone to think twice about their gender identity.
We’ve got just enough time for one more round. Here’s your scenario.
You’re a Woke Politician who has discovered that women prisoners are getting raped (in California prisons, all sex is considered non-consensual) and inseminated by male prisoners pretending to be something they’re not. How do you fix the problem?
If you said, “remove the men from women’s prisons”, you’re smarter than a Woke Politician.
Because California’s solution to the problem is to introduce new pregnancy resources for prisoners, hand out condoms and make “morning after” pills available to people-who-can-get-pregnant inmates.
If you’re woke enough to believe that’s the answer, you truly are dumber than a stump.
