Why are you a Democrat?

<knock><knock><knock>

Hello? Are there any Democrats here? If so, I have a favor to ask. I need you to help me understand why you support the Democratic Party.

Now, before I continue, let me first say this:

Those of us who support the President are fully aware of his faults. We’re painfully aware. Trust me. Ask any of his supporters and you’ll likely hear something similar to “I don’t agree with everything he says but I like that he’s done this, this and this” or “I don’t like that he did this but I do like that he’s done these other 5 things”. Very few people are 100% on board with President Trump.

I’m going to speak on behalf of Conservatives everywhere and say here’s why we support Donald Trump.

  1. He is exactly what he claims to be.
  2. There are no hidden agendas. Everyone knows precisely what he’s thinking.
  3. He says what he’s going to do and then he does it.
  4. We believe he is truly acting in the best interest of the United States.

It really is that simple.

Nearly every time my wife and I watch the news, we see another unbelievable thing that the Democrats are supporting or proposing. And, nearly every time, we look at each other and ask, “how could ANYONE possibly agree with this?”

From the outside looking in, it seems like the Democratic Party is not worthy of anyone’s support. Here are some examples:

  1. Other than “We’re not Trump”, the Democratic Party has no clearly-articulated platform.
  2. Everyone with the ability to hear can tell that Joe Biden is slowly deteriorating. A vote for Biden is a vote for the unknown. Either Kamala Harris will become president when Biden completely loses his mind, or he’ll remain a figurehead and someone else will be setting policy.
  3. The Democrats support the BLM movement. As we should all know by now, the BLM movement was founded on, and is perpetuating, untruths. They are driving a Marxist agenda with the stated intent of destroying American values.
  4. Democrats seem to be OK with ANTIFA burning our cities to the ground.
  5. The Democratic Party uses conspiracy theories to manipulate people. Starting with “Russia Collusion” and continuing even today with wild theories about Trump using the USPS to thwart mail-in voting. They’ve been doing this for nearly 4 years. Not one of their theories has been found to be true and their efforts have wasted tens of millions of taxpayer dollars.
  6. The Democratic leadership continuously misquotes the President or uses his comments out of context to distract people from his true message.
  7. Some prominent members of the Democratic Party are advocating for an end to capitalism and are proposing increasingly-socialist ideas. How can anyone who has a job or business think this is a good idea?

I’m going to speak again for all Conservatives everywhere when I say that we’re very interested to hear why the Democratic Party has your support. I’m inviting you to let us know in the comments what you believe in and why you’re voting for Joe Biden. Help us understand why a Democratic President will be in the best interest of the United States.

You don’t have to worry about repercussions or being “cancelled” because, well, that’s a Liberal thing.

But, there are some ground rules:

  1. No Trump bashing. We already know what you think.
  2. No pointing to examples of what Republicans are doing. That’s not relevant to your beliefs.
  3. Don’t just post a link or meme, use your own words.

And, here are some ground rules for any Conservatives reading this:

  1. Be nice.
  2. Act respectful.
  3. Listen to hear.
  4. Ask questions to better understand.

And now, my Democratic friends, the floor is yours.
