Last week, the CDC changed its opinion on masks for vacksinated people. Well, technically, they changed their “recommendations”. The CDC doesn’t make the rules, they only make “recommendations”. I caught a cold on Friday. It started out with a sore throat and eventually ended up in my sinuses. It wasn’t a particularly bad cold. I’ve had much worse. I could have panicked. I could have called my doctor, freaked out that it was “the COVID”. But I didn’t.
CDC stands for “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention”. The “and Prevention” part was added years after the “CDC” part which is why their acronym isn’t CDCP. I guess they already had the business cards and letterhead paper printed so changing to CDCP would have been a big expense.
